How to take care of your bandana

how to properly take care of your bandana
First, let me tell you that your BPVP design bandana is here to stay with you forever
We use the best quality material and sew each one of them with particular emphasis on good and lasting finishes

But, as everything, if you take care good care of it you can have it for years

Here are the steps and tips on how to clean and have the perfect bandana:
  1. wash it by hand only, fill your sink or bowl with warm water, use a neutral soap and gently wash the dirty spots.
  • do not put it in the washing machine as most of our bandanas have details (tassels, patches, snaps, etc) that could be damage by the washer.
  •  do not use bleach
  • let it air dry or use the dryer in a gentle cycle with low temperature, specially if your bandana have vinyl or patches
  • for the best looking bandana we recommend to iron the bandana with low temperature or cotton setting. Use a fabric as a protective layer between the bandana and the iron
    • do not place the iron directly over a vinyl, trim, label or patch
    TIPS
    • we love bandanas that smells good. You can add a touch of grooming & finishing spray or pet waterless shampoo (just a touch)
    • we like to brush the tassels and fringes (little bit extra I know) you can do it with a clean eyebrow or lash brush
    • fold it or hang it in a way that won’t create wrinkles. If your bandana have a patch, try not to fold it just in the patch.
